TITAN File is also capable of generating QuickTime MOV files for encapsulation. This feature can be implemented in a wide variety of workflows like editing, archive, or mezzanine delivery, for example – including the most demanding ones involving high dynamic range (HDR).

TITAN File is a multi-codec/format video transcoding software for mezzanine, STB and ABR VOD, post-production, playout and archive applications. It is a truly virtualized software-based solution, hardware agnostic, delivering high video quality at high density.

“Supporting all profiles of ProRes in TITAN File is a significant milestone for ATEME”, said Rémi Beaudouin, VP of Marketing at ATEME. “This perfectly positions the product to support existing transcoding workflows, as well as emerging ones, like those including HDR.”

Apple ProRes is a trademark of Apple Inc.

May HD Radio be an alternative for Turkey?

There are mainly three worldwide digital radio technologies: DAB/DAB+, DRM30/DRM+ and  HD Radio™ . According to some sector professional Turkey should not even think of  HD Radio™  as an alternative for the digitization of radio. I have some doubts on that. Lets have a closer look at  HD Radio™ : Who is behind the  HD Radio™ ? IBiquity  Digital is the firm that developed the  HD Radio™  technology. Some argues that as it is a firm, not a consortium, so broadcasters should avoid choosing  HD Radio™  as the digital radio technology. It sounds a little bit ambiguous. Why should broadcasters avoid using it? Do they avoid using Windows, for their PCs? Well, it is the same actually. Microsoft is a firm, that has a product, and broadcasters, like many others are using it. So, Ibiquity Digital is a firm like Microsoft. They have an approach to digital radio, with using FM band, they can digitize the r...

Disguise and Cuebric Launch AI-Driven Content Generator for Virtual Production

Disguise  — a world leader in virtual production technology used for  Top Gun: Maverick ,  The Joker  and more — has partnered with AI platform  Cuebric  to make virtual environments faster, easier and more cost-effective to build than ever before.  As part of the partnership, Cuebric has been integrated with the Disguise platform. This means creatives can now use AI to create the shape and depth of 2.5D environments, then import them into Disguise. The result is a plug-and-play scene that can be executed on an LED stage in only two minutes. This allows anyone to tell immersive stories, no matter the production environment or virtual art capabilities they have, saving weeks of pre-production work. “Real-time environments look spectacular on-camera, yet often require many hours of artistic and technical build,” said Addy Ghani, VP of Virtual Production at Disguise. “Thanks to our partnership with Cuebric, there’s now another option. Using generative AI,...
